About ScratchgravelAnne and Greg Draus are the co-owners of Scratchgravel Publishing Services, sharing more than four decades of experience in publishing—textbooks, workbooks, trade books, journals, and newsletters. Back in the 1800s, lucky prospectors in Big Sky country found that they could simply scratch away the surface gravel from the hills near Helena and find pockets of gold. Thus were the Scratchgravel Hills named. For years we lived near those hills, explored the depressions that pockmark the slopes, and celebrated the births of our two daughters in Helena—thus discovering our own "golden" treasures.
